After a very bad lunch yestedray at Olive Garden (food okay just really bad service), Blay went back to the doctor. I called them yesterday and told them of all he's been doing this week in regards to his ears and sleeping, etc and they said it sounds like he has an ear infection. This is not uncommon when the babies have an upper respiratory infection. So, after cleaning spaghetti off of Blay, from head to toe, and the floor, off we went.
Once there, they checked his ears and discovered he did NOT have an ear infection. She said it was very possible he did have one and was shocked his ears were as 'clean' as they were. He did however, have a red throat with some swollen tonsils, possibly from the drainage, etc he had from the infection. Treatment: Tylenol for the pain.
I know he's not feeling well because I've been having to hold him a lot and rock him to sleep a lot this week. If you know Blay, you know he doesn't like to be rocked or held for more than like a minute, if that. For him to want to be held and rocked is a clue he doesn't feel well.
He didn't sleep well at all last night nor did I for that matter. He's sleeping peacefully right now which is great for him and me. I am trying to get the house cleaned, water flowers, instructions left, laundry done, and packing completed before we leave for Kingsport this afternoon after the ball game. John's dad just flew in from Korea so we are going to Kingsport today to see him, Kentucky tomorrow for the family reunion, and then off to Florida after that. Blay's going to be through around a lot and off schedule some so please pray for him, and for us as we travel. Also pray that Blay will feel better!!! Thank you!
Oh yeah, Beat those Dawgs UT!!!!
