Let's see if the third time is a charm....
I deleted and re-created the NetworkBlog so I can only hope so. If it doesn't work, I think I'll give up (for now)! :)
A blog site for a variety of events, awesome finds, praises, complainings, and whatever else comes up! Please make sure you sign in on the guestbook at the bottom of the page and the photo slides of all of my little family. I hope you enjoy!

Trial and Error
Please excuse this post but I am trying to be tech-savy and link my Blog up to my FB blog page. This is a trial and run post to see if this works. Some posts may come and go today like this until I can figure it out. :)
Thanks for your patience.

DaySpring E-Cards
What more can I say about DaySpring? DaySpring is a great online shop for buying all kinds of Christian goodies from cards, devotional books, and gifts. DaySpring also offers e-cards, some free and some for purchase.
Thanks to being an email participate of theirs, I received an awesome E-Card from them today to check out. It is from the upcoming movie Courageous that is set to be released on September 30, 2011. The E-Card is a good indication that the movie is going to be as good as it's predecessor FireProof. Check out the Courageous E-Card clip below to get a small taste of the movie.

Mary, Mary, quite contrary....
How does your garden grow?? I don't know but it is growing like a weed, literally.
So I did it. I spent about 2 hours on Saturday and 2 hours on Sunday canning tomatoes, for the first time ever. With our garden growing graciously out of control, I had to do something with the 30+ tomatoes we've accumulated in the last 3 or 4 days. With these tomatoes, I canned 10 1/2 jars of 'stewed' tomatoes. These tomatoes are great when mixed in with some cooked elbow macaroni! Yum! Macaroni and Tomatoes......
So I didn't spend the whole weekend doing this but it did take me some time on Saturday since it was the first time I have attempted to do it. We shall see next weekend how well my canning came out with the tomatoes, especially since the Apple Butter last year works better over vanilla bean ice cream. But it is still really yummy over warm, fresh biscuits too. :)
Our garden. What can I say about it other than I think I bit off more than I could chew for the first year of ever having a true garden. We have soo much produce! And it's still producing. I don't know how much we have given away much less ate.... It's been a little overwhelming but I do enjoy it. I enjoy the 'fruits' of the labor we have made for ourselves this year.
Yesterday, I made for us soup beans, cabbage, tomatoes, squash and zucchini, okra, and cornbread. Everything I made was from the garden expect for the bean and the cornbread. John was overly excited when he sat down to eat the 'meatless' country dinner. Especially since my cornbread held almost perfectly together. There was a little tear in the top but it was sooo delicious....
Blay slept while John and I ate. While this wasn't our intention, it just happened he went to sleep when we made him sit on his bed for a time out. When John went back in to talk with him, he was snoozing, so we let him snooze. Poor little guy had a long weekend with late nights. Albeit, he had fun during his long and late weekend. In fact, his weekend has continued in to today as he and his daddy are out and about for a Daddy Blay day with Cars 2 on the agenda. We shall see how things are when I get home. :) Though, Blay is usually really good for his daddy.
I hope I can continue the trend of blogging more than once every two months. My agenda for next week (now that my blog is changed, one color, and more functional) is to try to figure out how to link to Facebook and to upload pictures to my home computer as well as to Picasa. In case you can't find Picasa now, it is located below the postings.
I hope you find the 'new' blog more readable and functional. I am open to any and all criticisms though, so please, criticize away.

Poked enough
uSo I have decided I have been 'poked' enough by some certain someone. :) I figured after the second 'poke' I should post something right. :) I mean, she just had her second child and can still play our scrabble games, post pictures, and blog so I should be able to do that right!?
First, another apology for not updating more frequently for those of you who do read. :) The last couple of months have been crazy and that is NO exaggeration. We have been in a non-stop race it seems like since T-Ball started. I thought after T-Ball ended we would have a little more 'free' time (is there really such a thing). However; we have been duped. It's been non-stop. I only hope things can calm down, even if brieftly before fall T-Ball starts up. If you don't believe our schedules just take a look at this!
This was our family schedule just for last week:
Sunday: Church, Lunch at El Metate, Start of VBS, and John leaving for Nashville
Monday: John Nashville, Church VBS
Tuesday: John Nashville, Pampered Chef Party
Wednesday: John Nashville, Church VBS
Thursday: John and I in Nashville
Friday: Home from Nashville; Walmart trip for Saturday; then to pick up a sick little boy
Saturday: Breakfast; Play time with Blay; Baby shower; Store; Going away party
Shew! Just reading this makes me tired much less actually doing all these things. Although, I am not going to complain. I had a blast with famly and friends and even got some awesome and free Pampered Chef stuff. I like bestressed under pressure! I feel I work my best when I am that way.
So this week has been calmer. Just one party this weekend. :) And it is not at our home, which is even better.
And just in case you were wondering, the little guy is better, just dealing with a cough. That makes for a happy mommy. Now, to stop the potty regression and the attitude!!!
Love you all!!!
P.S. - Should I just make the back drop one big pretty picture and not the colums?
