Beautiful Day

What beautiful days we have been having! Blay thought it would be fun to 'slide' down the backyard. It was a little cool the end of last week but has warmed up nicely, especially today. The heat/ac is off once again and I'm enjoying the open doors and windows. Blay is enjoying being able to play on the screened porch while Mommy does stuff around the house.

In case I haven't told you, Blay is in LOVE with Finding Nemo, Cars, and now Shrek. This morning we woke up wanting to watch Nemo, then after his nap it was Cars, and after his bath, Shrek. There for about two weeks, I was watching nothing but Nemo all day. I can only take so much "Mine,Mine,Mine" in one day....

Saturday John, Blay, and I went to the land to work around the pond planting flowers, grass seed, etc. I did that while Blay was napping. His Yanna is out of commission on watching him right now so Dad and John 'played' outside. Then, later on Saturday night, we had a nice surprise. Pops flew in to Atlanta from Korea three days earlier to see everyone. When Blay got up for church Sunday morning, his Pops was here waiting on him and Blay was ever excited!



Today, Blay and I hung out in the house for a while then we went outside. He had a blast, even though he got in trouble a few times. I finally got to see him drive his Jeep by himself and he peddled his tricycle for a moment, then he got stuck, mad, and that ended the tricycle peddling. He just walked it then. I finally got him in for dinner after 6 pm. He's sleeping soundly now and I am going to go do some things I wasn't able to get done over our busy weekend! I hope you all enjoy the video and pictures.

Shopping day

Well, today was a usual shopping day for me but I had a helper. Blay is on "Spring Break" from Mom's Day Out this week so we went out. I had to go to the Post Office for John to drop off some of the GI Joe stuff he sold on eBay. Blay helped me out by carrying some of the small boxes in while I carried the big boxes. It took about 4 trips but we did it.

From there we went to WalMart. I was out of M&M's so I bought an Easter set of M&M's for him in individual bags that make it easier to carry. I was on the hunt for some more curtains for the living room. We've finally found them but one WalMart has them on clearance while another just put them out in their Spring line? Weird. After I picked up a few other things, we headed to the park to play.

After the park, we got lunch, and went to BiLo and Publix for our weekly bargain shopping. I was happy with some purchases like a loaf of bread for .40 cents and Lysol Kitchen cleaner for about .60 cents. You can't beat that.


Blay is sleeping soulndly now readdy to go for another round of playing outside today. It is supposed to be 71 degrees. It was 65 when we got home. Blay loves the weather when it's nice, and not full of pollen!!!

Nothing new

Well, there's nothing new really. We went to eat dinner Saturday with some family for Mamaw 'Dodie' 74th birthday. We all had a good time. Blay of course, was too interested in anything lese to want to eat. He was having fun with hus cousin Elijah and watching the baseball game on the tv above his head.

Sunday, we just went to church. Nothing big other than we know we can't give him any type of Sundae from Baskin Robbins after 8 pm. He was wired for about 2 hours. Too much chocolate and sugar I think.

We are loving this warm weather! The only thing we aren't loving is the trees blooming causing Blay a lot of allergy problems. He's got a bad cough and runny nose right now. He is at school today and was doing better after he got out of a warm shower to open up his sinuses. He was ready to go!

Long weekend

Hey guys, sorry again it's been a while. John's Mom and Step dad came in last weekend and stayed for a night. We went to eat their first night and then on Saturday, we took Blay to the Aquarium.

Blay had never been there and he had a good time. He tried to pet the stingray's but he's so little he couldn't get his arm in to get them without getting soaked. He loved chasing the butterflies and then running through the aquarium with all the fish. Now it's fish galore.

We've watched Finding Nemo several times and today, Shark Tales. I have a feeling that I am going to get to know these movies like I know several of his books.

We've had a quite week. Blay is cutting some more teeth. He just got in his third molar while he's in the process of cutting two more bottom teeth and his fourth molar. He's been the "Spawn of Satan" the last couple of days because of the pain. I hope he'll be okay when he gets up from his nap b/c he's got medicine in him and, his daddy came home early today.

We were hoping it would be warm and pretty enough today to take him to the park but it's not as pretty and warm as the weather man predicted. Maybe tomorrow.

I promise, I am going to post some pictures soon. It may be tonight. I may just have a posting of pictures and nothing else. I am going to update Picasa soon when I get all the Hawaii pictures on one computer!
