Hello everyone! I don't have a lot to talk about because we haven't done much but hang out with family.
Blay has experienced some new Firsts the last couple of days. He has ridden on a boat, ridden on a Jet Ski, and sat through his 1st 2 hour Parade!!! I was surprised at how well he was during the parade and how he didn't want to bail on the Jet Ski or the boat while on the water.
He's been having fun playing with cousins and grandparents. I haven't uploaded pictures from June yet but I have already started uploading pictures from July. They are on the Picasa site which you can access to the left side of the page.
Enjoy and Happy 4th!!!
A blog site for a variety of events, awesome finds, praises, complainings, and whatever else comes up! Please make sure you sign in on the guestbook at the bottom of the page and the photo slides of all of my little family. I hope you enjoy!

Finally, some normality
Okay, so we didn't close on Friday like I had originally posted. We didn't close on either home until Monday afternoon around 5 and then about 7. We had a long weekend in limbo. Finally, we are back to some normality and scheduling. It took a while but we're there. I am glad the house is ours now and we can really get back on track.
On Monday, Blay and I just played around the house until we had to leave to go sign on the houses. And he was just a perfect angel for the most part at both closings and was great eating out at dinner. I'm beginning to think taking him with me shopping more is starting to pay off. Granted he still does have some tantrums every now and then.
Yesterday, I had to take my car to Subaru for some seat belt issues and he and I went to the Creative Discovery Musuem. Blay had a great time!!!! They had a Curious George exhibit and he hugged Curious George when he got there and gave him a kiss when we left to go back down stairs.
When I can get some pictures posted back to the computer and uploaded to the June Picasa site, I will let you know for those pictures will be there.
We still don't have internet access so it may be a little while, hopefully about 2 weeks or so before I can get service. I will update when I can and will get the pictures updated as soon as possible.
I hope all of you have a Happy and Safe Fourth of July!!!

Broken record
Yes...still no new house!!!! We were so close Tuesday night/Wednesday day! We were scheduled to close yesterday and Tuesday night at 8 pm I got a call from our realtor stating it has been postponed again due to the home in MI not closing, again. Now there is light at the end of the tunnel, supposedly. As of now, we are to close tomorrow at 12 and 2 if the MI closing goes smooth this afternoon!! PLEASE PRAY THINGS GO WELL AND THAT WE CAN CLOSE TOMORROW!!!!
John's dad is back in the states and we really hope to see him before he leaves for Korea. This is his definite final trip back to the states before his retirement from the Army in October.
Also, Blay got to see his mamaw Judy and Papaw Doug yesterday. They were campingin Harriman and drove down to spend the day with us, or should I say him. They got to see our 'new' home and eat lunch and dinner with us.
Blay had a good time too this past Saturday at his Ninny's house for Elijah's 8th birthday party. He wanted to go straight to the pool and then after dinner...wanted to 'jump'. THat's my que for trampoline time. He loves the trampoline and so we went to jump. After this, he thought it would be fun to run through Elijah's new slip n slide in his clean, dry clothes. I had to borrow a shirt from Elijah for him to ride home in since he was soaked.
Blay has been really good the past couple of days and has been sleeping well once we got past the Saturday night all nighter with him.
Also, please pray for Blay's cousin Cade who has terribly sick yesterday and had to be rushed to the ER. He's home now and better but now has to do some testing....

Another week
Another week and still no new home. Hopefully, we'll be able to close this coming week. We've had some ups and downs with the whole process but we hope that process is soon to be over and we will be in our new home. Then, I will be able to post pictures of our new home!!!
Monday was a bad day so Blay and I just hung out at the trailer...he had a bad, whiney day. It was a test to us both.
Tuesday, I roasted myself and now look like a lobster. A lot of it has soaked in but I am still red in some areas. We went to my mom's house to hang out at the pool with cousin Elijah and Aunt Nicole. Ninny came home early from work to spend time with us too and brought Blay a float for the pool. When I'm able to post pictures of it, then I will.
Wednesday we went to our 'new' house and played with the cat and cleaned up a little bit from the moving mess.
Thursday, Blay and I went shopping for Elijah's birthday present, Blay some Benedryl cream, and me a bathing suit and cover up. I got a cute 1 piece bathing suit at Ross' for $20 and a cover up for $10.
Friday, we spent the up at the 'new' house again to play with our kitty and let Blay get familiar with the new home as well. It's going to be a big change for him so we're doing it this way so maybe it won't be so traumatic for him.
Tomorrow, we're going back to Ninny's (my mom's) for Elijah's 8th birthday party.
I'll update more when I can...maybe with pictures!!!
